AMARA

CHARACTER BIO

The third and final child of two storied heroes, Utula the Golden and Meeresa the Wise of the Mutamba Collective, Amara chafed under the destiny of a warrior. Neither as fast as her older sister nor as strong as her older brother, Amara’s days training to avenge all that had been taken from her people were marked with unwelcome comparisons. She often escaped sessions to sit in solitude, staring through the ethereal mists that shrouded the savannah, sheltering her village.

It was not until Kerioth’s forces unexpectedly discovered the secret paths through the mists that Amara found her greatness. Without her parents’ leadership, the defenses were scattered, but it was Amara’s voice--her strategic and tactical brilliance--that saved her people and allowed them to escape.  She did not need to be as strong as her brother, only guide his arm to where the enemy was weak, and she did not need to be as fast as her sister, only ensure that her speed reaped a heavy toll on the invaders. Still a warrior of the highest pedigree, Amara became a Warlord and champion of the Mutamba Collective, respected by all for her intellect and her innate understanding of the patterns of battle.

For this reason and for many others, when Qa'Dan issued a call to war - one last campaign to save the world, Mutamba sent Amara, their best hope of survival along with what warriors they could spare. Reluctant to leave her people to the dangers of a dying world, Amara is wise enough to see that if this battle is lost, all others will be as well.
